Good News
First the latest MRI report from the neurosurgeon shows no sign of the tumor left in my pituitary gland. The pituitary looks like a streched out deflated beach ball though. Dr. says I am healing well and I dont have to go back in six months but I can wait until next summer to follow up with him and have my next MRI done. The surgeon says he really remembers me though because I had the largest tumor he had seen in a pituitary gland in quite sometime ( I was the talk of the surgery break room that day ).
Now the bad news. I went to my local shop today to buy a brick of Federal .22 lr ammo and they were layin for me to come in and ambush me. They said come over and they had just gotten in a Henry Big Boy in .357 and said it had my name on it. Well, what could I do, if it had my name on it then I should get it because obviously it was for me, right? So... now I am the proud owner of a Big Boy .357 that will fit in nicely with my .22 Golden Boy and my brass .30/30. That purchase for a brick of .22's was much more expensive that I anticipate but a lot more fun too.
I hope to try out the carbine next weekend.
