Let's say a Prayer

Post by madman4570 »

Guys,

We all sometimes think once in a while (boy, what bad luck?)
But, let's reflect what true bad luck really is.
Loss of a loved one,or maybe a home along with all it's possessions lost in a fire or flood(and many times the flood loss wasn't insured)or the drought in Texas etc.

With what is going on as of late with hurricane Irene and now what's coming into the Gulf Coast now.
How bout a Prayer wishing things made right for those already affected and protection and best hopes for those to be affected.
When you get feeling low, just think about these type people's lives and it might put it into a more real perspective.

Prayers sent!

Praying everyone in the path of those storms loses nothing more than they can replace.

Not only do we need to pray for the less fortunate in our midst, but we need to pray for our nation as a whole. We need to pray that we will be led to elect honorable God loving leaders who will pray for the guidance needed from God, to get this nation out of the mess that relying on the wisdom of man has gotten us into. We need to pray for the strength to weather the challenges that we face, not that we will have no challenges. We need to pray for the guidance to know when our neighbors are in need, and the courage to offer them that help. God will not send angels to help the needy when there is someone on earth that can fulfill that need. That way both the one in need and the one that serves will grow from that trial of faith. We need to pray that we will hear and answer the call when God sends us to do his work. We need to pray that we will recognize the lessons that we are to learn from our trials. That is what we need to pray for.
Judge a person not for how they act, but for who you can help them become.

Yep, big time prayers are sent,...........but....................................I can be the monkey wrench in the gears because.............I'd consider myself an idiot if I ever decided to live my life in N.O. or south Florida, or the extreme west coast because its just a matter of time before you get swamped or shaken off into the sea.

Yea, lots of arguements are gonna come out of this one. I tell buddies who have large trees near their home," Yo dude, how can you sleep at night when there's a big storm going on?" "Cut that sucker down as its leaning towards your bedroom."

More than once I've been right. In my view theres too much optimism....people hoping its gonna nail the other guy.

O.K. , I'm an idiot, I know.---------------Sixgun

Prayers are being and have been said. Our trials will not end in this world...
