


Above is me praising my little dog for making a difficult retrieve by dragging this cub vixen out of a steep sided hole. I directed her where I wanted her to look and on the third try she found it. Nearly dark too!
I waited sitting down by an oak watching the sun set and rabbits, horses and a pheasant, a few days before tonight I had witnessed a vixen carrying a chicken from a nearby egg production unit so tonight I chose to sit it out. The fist cub I missed

Soon after another showed but this time I held a little lower, the shot entered the shoulder and leaving just perfect the other side, we could hear a little crashing about so I relaxed and waited. The shot was around 90 paces.
Again the little 9422 trapper impresses me, not shot it for months!
