Any Levergunners near Buford, GA?
Just wondering
I am going to build a store up there called Brandsmart USA
on Buford Drive right across I-85 from the Mall Of Georgia
If the owners ever get the land deal done we should be starting
sometime around hunting seasons starts....typical
I'm from Daytona....but we will be travelling up there once a month
once we get started.

Oh man...
I feel a SE levergunners meet coming up.
We can go to a FREE range in Wilson Shoals WMA or if someone knows somebody with acreage, we can shoot longer than 75yds.
We'll have to keep this idea going, but it will be hard for me to do much because of school. It eats a LOT of time up that I don't have.

The reason I asked is my wife is there with my youngest daughter for two weeks. She is doing things on the weekdays, but is not looking forward to this weekend stuck in a hotel room. I was thinking maybe somebody was near by that could come up with some ideas for things they can do around there. My daughter is 6.
Do they like to hike?
If they go up I-85 to the Hamilton Mill exit, take a right, follow Hamilton Mill pkwy until it comes to Hog Mountain Rd., and make a left, there is an AWESOME park up about a mile on the right -across the street from Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church.
It's called Little Mulberry Park. It's a great passive park, (no soccer fields, just woods,) with miles of paved paths to wander. It's a great way to spend an afternoon! I take my three year old there sometimes at sundown to go and "hunt" deer. -We go and sit quietly until we see some in one of the fields, at which point my daughter goes crazy and yells and points! Funny, it's just as much fun to go with her and "spook" them as it is to hunt them.
Another cool thing to do is go down to Snellville and visit the Wildlife Park. It's kind of a haul down Rt. 124, down near Stone Mtn, but well worth the trip.
My wife works at Lake Lanier Islands Resort, just up Rt. 985 to the Friendship Rd. exit and take a left. Go all the way down to the gates, (4 miles?) They have an equestrian center with ponies to ride, as well as all sorts of other stuff. Maybe your girls can go to the spa there and act like girls. (Maybe 6 is too young, but who knows?)
Hmmm... Our church is called 12 Stone, and it's on Ga 20 towards Lawrenceville on the right just past the Kroger. (about 4-5 miles from Mall of GA,)
-Great Church, great people. They have an awesome daycare too.
My wife and daughter are all caught up in plans for most of the weekend, and I am working a 24 on Saturday so I can't guarantee anything for Sunday from me. Sometimes we run calls all darn night!
Ah well, such is the life of an EMT.
Pass these things along and I hope your girls get to do something fun this weekend.
