I went out back yesterday with the model 64 30-30 and the new to Me EMF-Rossie 92 357 mag. I paced off 75 paces and loaded the guns turned and fired as if I were hunting. the temp was around 20 degrees and I fired deliberite but as if I were shooting at a Deer. The 64 was shooting factory winchester 150gr and the 357 was remington 125gr all offhand. I am happy with the results. Jim.
Joe, the 64 WINCHESTER (1953) is the one that I would bet on. the Model 92 (new to Me) is very slick and must have been worked on by a 'smith as it is like butter on teflon. . I must add that neither of these rifles has been shot off the bench by Me. Jim.
Old Savage, I hope to test the model 99 takedown 303 next week and see if "BEER INDUCED OSSICALTION" can be recreated in the freezer-lab. .if not the more ANTI-FREEZE WILL BE APPLIED AS NEEDED. Your servant. Jim.
We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle, our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand, of overwhelming power on the other.
ohwin94_61, I can assure You Sir that the Redhook is only in the pictures to hold the targets as a breeze was starting to pick up and the Beer was on the porch. I do Not drink while I am shooting.
Old Savage wrote:I find the beer a great help in analyzing and measuring the targets. So far there have been no unofrtunate incidents with the calipers.
