OT - how'd you like to wake up & find THIS under your bed?

It was in. . . of course Guatemala...

This isn't exactly unusual there, either:

There is NO WAY I'd want to live there, no way, no how...!

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Put a nice rim seat around it with a lift cover and slide the bed to the side.
What better when you wake up half asleep in the middle of the night and gotta take a leak(or what ever else)
Also works good for the nights you party too hardy and the bed is spinning cause you can still hang on to the bed post and loose your lunch all in one. :D

When I saw this on the news the other day I noticed the walls of the hole appear to be lined with brick. In the photo provided above you can barely make out the lines of the brick just to the right of the light. Walls to straight, appear to be lined with brick...old well? Something's not right.

There is also a pipe coming into the hole at about the 2:00 position. Somewhere I read that they determined the hole was an abandoned well.

30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Ahh youth, glad we have better sense today. But when you're a young man in an "exotic" far off land, you'll do amazingly stupid things. Well, stupid in retrospect. At the time, they made perfect sense.

I think this is what crawled out of the hole. Pretty nasty.
