I have three Winchester 94 carbines that I'm trying to decide which to keep for my collection. One is a 1948 Eastern Carbine 30-30 that is 90 % but the stock has been refinished. Two is a 1949 Eastern Carbine that is 95 % but the ATF has filed the serial number down and put theirs own. It also has a Williams front and peep back sight with a sling and leather ammo cuff. The last one is a 1926 SRC that is about 60 % with a rifle butt and a W.D. King rear sight. They all shoot great and have excellent bores. These are the photos. The SRC is a 32 special. I don't have another 32 SP so that may be the one I keep. The bottom one is the ATF carbine. I do have one 1894 30-30 rifle and one more Winchester SRC in 30-30 and it is a 3/4 magazine that I will keep. Let me know If the photos change your opinion.

Have you got nephew or neice that are close to you and would appreciate them? Then keep them all
Have you got a hunting cabin somewhere and could stash one of them there as a 'back up' gun? Then keep them all
If you are not sure which one to part with.....then keep them all.

P.S. Unless you were planning on selling them to finance the purchase of a Hi Point handgun.....in which case I will trade you a NIB of any caliber you want striaght up for your 94.
unless you need the money to feed your family or keep your house - by all means man - keep them all.
If you decide to start parting with them - the agency SN# should go first, followed by the other eastern carbine - I'd keep the SRC for last - although when you say rifle buttstock on it, it kind of throws me off.
Keep 'em all! W/O pics I couldn't begin to tell ya which, although... if ya know the story on how the agency reserialized the one EC, you might wanna keep it for a conversation piece.

There is a fine line between hobby & obsession! AND... I'm over it!!
No I ain't ready, but let's do it anyway!
For your info those you mention as Eastern Carbine are really Sporting Carbines. I have 4 that range from 30s to late 40s still with original boxes and the Winchester end label shows Winchester "Sporting Carbine.
Win 1894, sporting sounds much better. When and if the sun comes out I will take some photos of these. I have over 60 guns and I'm feel very lucky to have accumulated this collection. As a retired teacher/coach I try to sell some now and then to be able to buy some more. I go by the motto "keep the best and sell the rest". It usually comes down to condition and worth as to which ones I keep. Also it depends on if I have another one that is similar. Since all three shoot great it has become difficult to figure out which ones to let go. In the end it will be my decision but I respect the opinions of the other forum members and just thought I would see what those opinions are. Thanks and I will post the photos soon.
P.S. I don't know anything about the ATF carbine other than what I see.
By the way I'm not trying to sell these carbines on the forum. I take them to "The Spur and Bit Show" in Abilene, Texas on Mother's Day weekend. It is a good place to see a few good levers. It has quarter horse races, the show, ranch rodeo, poetry, music etc ; If your close come by.
Eastern Carbines would have the same long forarm as your saddle ring gun and were in the same era as the saddle ring carbines. I'd pick the 20s saddle ring carbine to keep.
I have several 94 carbines and one is a 20s era saddle ring. It's the last one I'd let go....
