been doing so playing with marlin loops this is a picture of my secone one made the first loop was welded with a high contient of stainless steel (tig) and didn't blue that good , this second one was welded with a carbon steel wire in a mig
I made a fixture to set the loop and drilled holes to secure it tight the
fixture has two plates the large main plate and a smaller loop plate bolted to the top. i can do some picture if need of the fixture
the lever came from e-bite and was damaged broken in half pitted and rusty but for a couple of bucks what the hay...bead blasted the lever too. before starting
tried to polish most of the pitting from it but it is too bad so I will live with it for a part to see if blueing comes out ok.
what do you guy think ? is it to big of a loop or do you need to see it on a gun ? that will be the best way to tell.
the lever piece in the photo is from the first lever i did so please don't compare the finish
thanks for the lever space
