I joined the 1911 club
I've never been a big pistol fan, but always wanted a 1911. The 100th anniversary and a heck of price, on a Wilson Combat KZ-45, was reason enough.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Is that is first with an external extractor?

Well this calls for a resurrection of the "1911 Thread" (from hell)
Seriously, nice pistol.

I would assume so, but since I nothing about them other than their quality and accuracy I would not know. I think it's an early one since it has a 3 digit serial number.
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

Congrats. That's a fine weapon indeed.
Let us know how she shoots.

External extractor and polymer frame, some would dispute the purity of that line! Welcome to the club.

Oh yea, it's a crossbreed... but that doesn't necessarily make it BAD... It just might be "more than the sum of it's parts!"

Welcome to the club. If you are going to own a semi-auto, a 1911 is the way to go!

I was glad i joined for the 1st time 5weeks ago. That is a nice looking piece. Like the external extractor. 3leg
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

The factory manual has an "accuracy guarantee", of 1" 5-shot groups at 25yds from a rest if you use one of the recommended ammo selections. The mags hold 10 shots, so I guess I can find the best 5-shot group.
