I've had this BL22 for almost 20 years now, never scoped it. Late last year my buddy picked up a scoped Nylon 66. For some reason or another he changed scopes and gave me the old Bushnell that was on the Nylon as well as the mount.
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it but figured if there wasn't already a .22 in the safe that would work with it, there would be someday. A few months later I was finishing clean up on the BL22 after a range session when I saw that Bushnell and mount on the work bench. Hmmm....
It was almost two months after I got it mounted before I could get to the range. I'm still not 100% used to it. It's a LOT smaller than the scopes I'm used to and not as bright so I think it'll be a couple more range sessions before I make a final decision.

That is because Washington is too cold.

It doesn't look too bad sitting up there. I would think it would be less than ideal in poor light but should do well for bustin' a few bunnies or something like that on a sunny afternoon.

very pretty rifle.
I have a similar scope (4x Ted Williams) on my Mossberg 22 - first firearm from my childhood.
My daughter had a very hard time viewing through the scope when I started her shooting it.
She's shooting peep sights now.
I have one on my 9422m that was on there when I bought it from a guy down the road. I don't really care for it even though it is deadly with it on there. When he mounted the scope on the gun, he removed the rear sight and apparently lost it because he couldn't find it in his gun room anywhere. I can't find a replacement anywhere. If I find one, I will take the scope off, just looks wrong with a scope.
I like it because it's trim and light, much like the rifle itself. I don't like it because it's so small. It's certainly different and will just take some time to see if it's "right" or not.
