Good Morning, Riflemen

Post by Blaine »

Hope you guys had a fun holiday weekend. It's a short week, and they promise sun Fri, and the weekend. Maybe The Argo (driftboat) can hit the river...finally!

Blaine,

Riding that drift boat down that river is one of the things on my bucket list.

Here's hoping.

Come out to Wyoming next week, you can likely ride your boat down main street.

I'm still a tyro boat rower. I'll just be practicing this summer for the most part. Maybe I can anchor at the side of a riffle and drift some shrimp. Pulling plugs takes one fella on the oars, or tending the kicker fulltime.

Good afternoon back at ya. We've had rain off and on all day with a little bit of lightning and thunder thrown in.

EVening here now... did you get the bottom of your boat wet? Certianly hope your day was better than mine!

Mine :?: I tried to replace the stator (alternator) on my lawn mower. Tomorrow I have take the engine down to the small engine repair shop to get the gear puller pivot out of the flywheel. Repairmen love us guys that think we know what we're doin'!

I'm taking ours up to either Baker or Shannon Lake this weekend, if work allows. Need to start nailing the koke's.
