We used to use them all the time when i was a kid, great for hunting.
Found one in the junk drawer just now but has quite a bit of rust on it, it has a star pattern on the top and sides, no name that i can see.
I remember if ya over filled it they would leak lighter fluid and burn ya.

I had one like that when I was a kid, and used it
on my paper route. My parents REFUSED to drive me,
even when it snowed. I remember draggin' a sled behind
me when the roads were too bad to bicycle on.
Better yet, during the cold months when walking our dog around the lake my wife carries the little plastic doggie dodo bags.
When our big doggy does his thing and the wife bags it,I say dont be shy cup that closed baggy in your hands until all the warmth has gone from it. (its a hillbilly handwarmer)
Used 'em many hours on deer hunts in Northern Michigan when I was a kid.. take the wick off, fill it with lighter fluid, tip it upside down and squeeze it tll any excess runs out, quits dripping, put the wick on, light it, and it will flame up for a minute or two, when the flame is gone there will be a coal glowing, put the cover on it, back into the bag and slip into your pocket right side up.. use to use one in each pocket.. last for hours.the little hole in the side of the cover is for lighting a ciggarette.. probley outlawed by some nanny state agency now.. don't get caught with it... This is plagiarized from someone else, but I love it!
I was born a gun owner.
It wasn't a choice.
I didn't become one later in life.
I was born this way.
