OT, A few more holsters done

Post by Chuck 100 yd »

Finished a couple more sets of holsters today and got a start on one for Scott. This hobby takes up a lot of my time lately.

+1

And now you are inspiring me to start another!

BTW, how did you get started? Did you read up on this (and if so, what), take a class, get some training, buy a starter kit?

Looks fantastic as usual !
I can't wait for my holster! I see the pattern on the table, looks like you kept a pretty good angle on the belt loop

Thanks for the compliments fellers.
Yes Salvo. I kept your angle the same. I cut out two so I could play a little and if I don't like something I don't have to do it to yours. Kinda a test run don't ya know.

Very nice!! Having done some leather tooling years ago I appreciate the fine work. :D :D
Do you happen to do butt-stock covers, laced, nothing fancy, no tooling :?:
(Just to protect that fine furniture wood stock. :D)

31drfl , Hi pard, I haven't made any butt covers but they should be fairly easy to do. Right now I am berried in lawn mower repairs and honey do`s. I am keeping enough time set aside for CAS and to make Salvos rig though. I can duck out to the shop in the evening for an hour or two each day.
