Is there a large loop lever replacement for the Savage 99?

AFAIK, an issue lever would have to be gunsmithed/modified.

Any welding, etc, on a Savage 99 lever should only be done with utmost care, as the upper lever extension is hardened to help lock the bolt in battery, IIRC.

i wouldn't try to weld one myself,I can weld but not real good at small welding jobs,I just thought a 99 might look good with a large"John Wayne" loop.

The levers are CCH but not brittle... Slight adjustment of the lockup is done by bending the arc slightly more open or closed... With a propper heat sink someone with decent welding skills could make a large loop lever for one.

A Savage with a large loop? Bleah. Stretching a little for gloves, sure, but a "large loop" a-la "the Rifleman" .... Bleah
