Different generation, different version of the song. But God bless everyone of those young men and women, as we owe all we have to them and those that went before them. And, we'll continue to owe a debt to those who follow.

I'm having flashbacks to "lightsaber" fights in the fog between a pair of Humvees at Echo 1 on a cold winter night with flashlights........ and SrA Askew doing his own karoake routine while in full Interceptor armor (front, back and side plates) plus helmet, ruck and M4 as he finished up doing an emergency breakdown/tow drill for a pair of Humvees.

My old unit "The Fighting Fifth" has been sluggin' it out over there and has taken heavy casualties.
I think about them everyday...."God Speed" India 3/5
They finally got Tank support this past winter and that has really made a difference. I get updates from my Brothers and there's a 3/5 organization set up to provide support; Care Packages, etc for these brave Marines. Makes my day to send these Marines a Care Package. My daughters got in on the support as well. Made me proud of them both....
