500 bucks is what i bought my last .45 colt Winny (8 months ago ) ------- i paid 425 for a 45 Trapper a year ago, but it was a little "distressed" in condition

So i would say between 500 and 600 is your ballpark

Maybe $600 in tip top "out of the box" condition.
But nowhere near the $1000-$1500 they're quoting as the MSRP on the Winchester website for the new second generation Japchester levers.

I've got an 94AE 45 Colt, SRC in mint condition with under 100 rounds through it (it's in the classifieds). I think $500 is fair. Of course I'd like more but I think $500 is reasonable to the buyer for a 99% rifle and I can apply the funds to something more important. I'm adding dies, ammo and brass with mine too. So, depending on your overall condition and round count I think asking $500 is okay but you might want to be negotiable down to $475 or even a little less.

Universal rules of thumb apply here.
I'll get as much as I can for anything I'm selling as will most of the people I buy stuff from.
Level of desperation is definitely a factor.
If I need the money to pay the overdue mortgage or face being out on the street living in a cardboard box next month I'm an easier man to deal with than when the bills are up to date & there's a healthy number in the balance column of my bankbook.
As my financial situation sits now I wouldn't be letting a mint 94AE 45 Colt go for less than $550......take it or leave it. :)
They're nice looking guns.
