???? Must be a typo. What he really means is $25.00 for that 1940s rustbucket.

What Hobie said! I noticed elsewhere was a 94 supposedly of stainless steel... Wha'd PT Barnum say? He was right... and there's always someone for the opportunity for them to prove it!

They are in Austrailia and I know the prices can run a bit more there but I don't think the exchange rate is that far off.

I bet if you contact him, he'd be willing to knock $25.00 or so off the price. Maybe even ship it for free! :D

Well guys this gun first posted at $250.
I rang the owner and he said "no, there has been a mistake and it is $250 000."
He has a story of it being made in another plant and only 15 being made before it burned down.
To tell you the truth I was still in shock at the price and only half listened to his story.
If you check used guns the same bloke has a couple of commemerative Winchesters listed at huge prices also.
I saved the best till last - he has two of these super special 1894's.

Any truth in the story about Winchester manufacturing in a different plant for a short time?

I saw this the other day this bloke is a squeezer and a half!

The dreamer has a commanche carbine for $5000 obo!

Maybe I should sell all my nib comemmoratives and buy a BOSS 429 Mustang!

Well at least everyone local knows to stay away from 'Get Along Gun Supplies, 52 Matthews Rd, Geelong'.

This guy wins the award for excellent tossmanship

I've heard "rumors" of a Canandian plant. But, I believe it produced PARTS, not whole guns.

And of course he has "2". And I'm sure, somehow, magically a 3rd will be "unearthed"!

Haven't you guys heard about the secret manufacturing plant Winchester had in Japan during WW II? Because Winchester had to convert it's US plants for the war effort they had the Japanese plant produce exact replicas and sneak them over in subs. The plant is the one we now know as Miroku. They can be distinguished by the flat barrel bands. Proof? Well Winchester has no records for those serial numbers cos they didn't make 'em in the US.

Winchester had some shotguns produced in Canada, but I've never heard of any 94's coming out of there.
