Top is my 38-55 made in 1902. It is a full length/full magazine rifle, round barrel with a browning patina. Overall condition is excellent.
Next is a 30-30 carbine made in 1941. It was my wife's Grandfathers and is well used! I can't even guess how many deer met their demise from this carbine!
Last is my 32 Special made in 1953. Sight is a Lyman peep and I still use this gun for hunting. The bluing is very good.
Hope you enjoyed!

I like this photo.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.
History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

I like it even if it wasn't at My House.38-55 is a caliber I have wanted for a long long time.Never did run across one. Somehow though I seemed to have migrated to the smaller of the Lot, the ever so popular 25-20. Don't know why, guess it sounds just as Cool.
Nice little collection and a couple with a Family History. I for 1 enjoyed it. THX for Sharing.

I bet that carbine in the middle could tell some stories. All the wear on that gun is just "right".---------Sixgun

Lots of history in just those three guns alone; nice collection!

Fine collection!

Nice rifles ther Mate.
I like the 30-30 Carbine best because of the family connection - you cannot put a price on that.
The 30-30 looks to have some really nice grain in the timber as well.
Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the replies! I failed to mention that the 38-55 has been in the family since the 1940's also. There has always been a friendly "fight" between my older brothers and myself as to who really owns the gun. You know... "Dad bought it for me; yeah but it was given to me when I was of age, yada yada. Myself being the youngest and since it has been in my gun cabinet for almost 40 years.... possession is 9/10ths of the law
I would really like to add a 38-40 to this collection someday

Not only 9/10 but come and get it. jk. I have 1 Brother, He being the oldest. He has My Dads Win. 94/30-30 way pre 64 and I have the Rem mod 8 in 30 Remington and My Dads old Long Tom ( that is all it says on the Gun ). Some how 1 of Our Cousins got away with The LeFever double. We think it was borrowed by Our Uncle and never returned. I Pray that this doesn't cause a Riff between U and Your Brother. My Brother and I R completely cool with the way Ours ended up although I think I would rather have the 30-30.

38-55,
Those are nice Winchesters for sure, but please tell us about that quilt. I'd sure like one to crawl under about now.

Thanks again for all the compliments. I just now noticed that I spelled Winchester wrong in the title of this thread
I'm surprised that no one called me out on that one. I guess all you guys are real gentlemen
