remember recently I got another double, remember I said one of the muzzles was dinged and had a slight flat on it, not any more :D

It measured .718 at it's widest and .702 across the ding.

I made a .718 mandril with a flat ground on one side to .700, I then rounded the flats edges so it resembled the cross section of a soft cam.

Drilling the mandril so I could turn it with a simple cranking bar I lubed it with gear oil and inserted into the muzzle and give it a fast couple of rotations.

Woo hoo it worked, just a couple of thou out now and looks much better :D

Should of taken pic's I know.

Any way it may be of use.

Something was wrong so when I got home I stripped it. The hammer springs are broken! That explained the mis fire and a fail to cock!

Looks like it's AYA made, now I'm hunting hammer springs :lol:
