I tried a while back didn't get an answer, maybe he was on vacation or something.

That aside any other place?

I did try a Winchester part, but it is not the correct thread.

LSI Rossi Parts / Repair

If you have an LSI Rossi Puma, then email Sports World (info@sportsworldtulsa.com) in Tulsa with your model no. (M92), s/n, name, address, and phone number along with the specific parts you want. They will email you back with the prices. They are the warranty repair group for LSI Rossi.

Use exact name defined in THIS parts listing for the M92 Rossi. You can also call them at (918) 742-4027, but they will ask you to send them an email with the specific parts that you want and then they will call you back when they are ready to take your order.

Braztech and Rossi Parts / Repair

You can also try Rossi Braztech Customer Service - phone 305-474-0401-1 and be ready to give them the same information as LSI.

I've always been too embarassed to ask, but. . .

How can you tell an "LSI" Rossi from a "Braztech" Rossi. . . ?

I think most of the ones I've seen actually say "Rossi/Braztech" or something like that on the barrel, but is there any other way to tell if there isn't some obvious printing right on the gun like that...?

Rossi is the manufacturer, LSI/EMF/Navy Arms/Braztech are importers. Imported guns are required to carry the importers name. On Rossi 92's the import stamp is usually on one of the tangs.

Steve,
Here's another good Rossi parts source:
http://www.mmgunsmithing.com/ - I bought a 92 hammer & trigger from them a while back.

To quote from their web page:
Rossi's only authorized repair station.
(imported by Interarms, LSI [Legacy Sports International] and EMF)
