.357/Lilgun/180gr Cast??
The postman just handed me a box from Wayne Doudna. 250ea, 180grn Cast Gas Check bullets for my Win. 94 trapper .357.
I know some of you shoot these over Lilgun and 2400 but I can't recall what you are using for loads. I tried the Hodgdon site and the Alliant manual but they don't give starting loads for the cast 180grn. What are those of you who shoot this using for loads?

3T,
I have loaded this bullet over 15.0 gr of Lil' Gun and it worked well, but 14.0 grouped better in my rifle. Loaded it over 11.0 gr of 2400 and it shot 1.25" @ 100 yds, much better than the Lil' gun load, but that's in MY rifle. YMMV. No sign of excess pressure in either load. Good luck!

You might load up a dummy of that round and make sure it will feed before you load up a bunch of them. Don't as me how I know.
Is that bullet Wayne casts a WFN design? I might need to try me a box of those!

Thanks 3T. I appreciate that. I'll email you my address. Just one round would be fine for my purposes. As a matter of fact, just one of the bullets would be fine. I like Wayne's bullets. I ordered 1000 from him to feed my .45 Colts and they have served me well. He doesn't cast them too hard like a lot of the larger commercial casters do.
Thanks again for your offer!
