If nothing else, this has a lot of intimidation factor to it. Probably a sub-moa rifle being a Sig.

I think I'd price the 7.5 Swiss before I did anything. You're not going to find it as cheap or as plentiful as .308, .30-06, or even .223.

My dream rifle is an M1 Garand personally.

A "no reserve" auction no less! That takes guts with a rifle as specialized as this one.

Good looking rifle.I don't like having a gun loaded all the time around the house especially when kids are over so I take the mag out of my Poly-teck AK-47.Doesn't take too long to insert a mag and get it ready for home defence though. It only shoots 4 inch groups at 100 yards but it doesn't need to be very accurate for home protection. It isn't as good as a AR-15 but it only cost 300 bucks.Ammo is cheap also.If I was rich I would like to buy that Swiss gun.It does have a high quality look to it.

Very nice.

That or a M240B would be nice.

My ideal EBR is the Springfield Scout.

Evil Black Rifle

:)
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

A buyer that can afford a $7,000+ semi-auto rifle can probably afford $0.50 per round ammo. That's what Swiss surplus berdan-primed GP11 goes for now.

Prvi Partizan 7.5x55 runs about $15.00 for 20 rds at gun shows, or $0.75 per round.

Rusty,I agree on the old M1. Mine has a clip on the sling and a bandolier on the shelf by it in the safe.

The "dog" takes firearms in on consignment. He lets the market decide what it's worth. The consignee set the BIN price.

FYI,
Someone already bought it using the BIN!
