That gun looks like it's spent many seasons afield. 8)

A gun like that could take you shooting and hunting - if only it could talk...

hfcable,

Looks pretty good. But .... um, what happened, you didn't get it all? The magazine thingy shrunk. Must have been unsanforized or termites got to it. Hope you got a discount .....

You know I'm just teasing. That's a fine looking rifle. What are you going to hunt with it first?

Congratulations and well....................WOW!

20 years ago I would have wondered why you didn't buy one that still had all of it's blueing and was newer, probably stronger to shoot those super hot +p loads.

Nowadays, I simply marvel at the beauty of things with honest age that have lasted through the years. And hope you consider a little black powder. Guess I'm gettin old.

She is absolutely beautiful!

Now that looks really nice. Really good score. And with the older firearms, nothing beats shooting a good target or taking it afield getting game.

Hope it serves you and take care of it as you are only the caretaker for the next generation of firearms enthusiasts....

thanks to all. and Ray is right--- i am well aware that we become the caretaker for these objects....it has already survived longer than most of us will, and to enjoy it and pass it on again is the real goal!
