Mike,

Yeah it was the 26" full octagon with a full magazine and straight stock.

Antique Winchester Model 1894 .30 W.C.F. Rifle made in 1921. 26" barrel, lever action, crescent butt plate. This rifle is all original and in excellent condition. The action is nice and tight. The bore is clean and bright. The blueing is excellent on the barrel. The action and magazine tube are startig to have a very nice brown patina. The wood is in very good condition with a few minor handling marks. The wood fits tight to the butt plate and has no cracks, splits, or breaks. The serial number is 905358 which makes it a 1921 manufactured Winchester. This is a complete, functioning and original Winchester! A collector's dream.

Hey Joe,
MY uncle has a 26" Octagon barrled 94 with a (gold) reciever ( .30-.30 )
I think it is the first of the Commerative series of rifles.
I know I can get it away from him.
He also has an original Colt SAA, that is lettered; I can also get that away from him.

:P :P :P :P :P :P Got the PM's. Brain is not yet functional this early on a snowy Christmas day.

OK, working on a bottle of CAFFEINE has kind of woke the brain up.

I'll take it. PMs on their way to you.

Wow again! I think the first of the commemorative series was the Wyoming Double Jubilee in 64 of which 1501 were made.

Congrats Joe. They are fine rifles. I love mine. Everytime I pick it up, the wonder of what stories it's witnessed run thru me. Truly, it's like owning a slice of history.

Mike, what can I say, your generosity seems boundless. I'm sure the joy of fulfilling another's wish will over-fill any void this mere object left.

Blessings in this time of rejoicing our Lord's Gift to us.
