Got this from my brother -- original source unknown -- but I'm sure glad we've don't have to battle any of these here in Maine! :shock:

I think I'd quit hunting for good... :wink: Watch your step!!! :o

Got a call from a man in Lineville, AL today... He told me:

"I took a lease on a nice piece of land where there are plenty of deer roaming around. I put up a tree stand in a nice place where several game trails cross…………

BUT, due to some incurred obstacles getting to the stand last Saturday, I've decided to forgo any more attempts at bagging a trophy deer this year……..

So, if anybody wants my deer stand for the rest of the year -- it's open to anyone who would like to take a stab at it......

My heart just can't take another day like last Saturday!!!"

I have it from a reliable source that they taste more like chicken than venison :lol:

If you gotta kill that many snakes getting to a deer stand, how do the deer survive there?

sounds like the pic doesn't go with the story - the guy was probably out hunting snakes not deer.
