We've just had the worst drought in living memory and this year crops are rotting in the fields from the floods...

Gotta laugh though.

I don't know how to reply. I pay lots of attention to global food supply and crops and you're not alone. If the folks that watch the weather cycles are correct, we can look to the future for cold, wet summers and very cold winters for the future. Bad for crops and bad for global food supply.

Glad we can laugh.

Around the world, thousands die daily due to famine. Yet when a scientist says that the world population should be a quarter of what it currently is to maintain sustainability, the politicians laugh.

Way back in the mid seventies in northern Victoria the Campaspe river flooded and I remember driving a boat across paddocks and over the tops of fences to get from the house to the highway. Its funny that we laughed about it back then too.
