RErelease of the 94 this year?

Post by Billy Boy »

I heard Swampman make mention of this item coming BACK to market on the Mossberg lever-action thread.(Which I rather like BTW!)
Is this legitimate info?
Where is Browning gonna assemble the gun?
Here, or abroad?

Billy Boy,

I don't know the time frame but several here have reported it's truth, people connected with the gun industry. Sure hope so.

I've read the Mdl 70s are back now, 2008, and the 94s will be back in 2009. The Mdl 70s are made somewhere down south. NC, Georgia, one of those great Confederate States. And maybe the 94s will be too. We'll see.

Jeff Quinn is doing he annual report from the Shot Show. In the Media Day report he test fired the new Mdl 70.

Go to his site: http://www.gunblast.com/ and read up on the Shot Show.

Personally I'm waiting to see what new stuff Ruger has brought out. It's been a very long time since they introduced anything I'm interested in.

model 94

Post by dgr416 »

They have been making winchester 94 parts for two years at the SC plant.I hope they made alot of 25-35 barrels so I can buy a pair of them.Hopefully they are not $1000 like the new model 70.They have to be better than the last model 94s made they were horrible.I bought 4 25-35s from Cabelas and sold all of them because they just were not up to snuff.I wish they would crank out some big bore 375 winchesters.

Ruger introduced a Kel-Tec clone, .380 pocket pistol. La-dee-dah.
