I've been a lurker around here for a good while and while I don't post a lot I do very much enjoy the forum and I think I've read every article posted on the main sight a dozen times.

I thought I'd post up some pics of my little Marlin lever family.
I just finished the wood on my 336SS and have to say I'm pretty pleased with it. And no, this is not a safe queen, it was in the field a couple weeks ago. Although I might get me a butt cover for it.

Here's my 336W that has been something of a project rifle for me. The stocks turned out alright for birch. This is my general purpose rifle and sees the most use of all my centerfires. Still some ideas in the works for it but it makes me quite happy for now.

My 1895G. Other than adding the Skinner rear I haven't done much to this one...yet...

And my latest addition and pride and joy, my 1895CB. My wife bought me this for Valentine's Day this year. I never thought I'd actually own one as I just always felt too guilty about the price and talked myself out of it. So it was an enormous amount of gratitude that I accept this wonderful gift. This one will stay as is for a while until I decide just what I want to do with it. But that won't be a whole lot. Sight upgrades of course and I'd like to get a good deep blueing done to it.

With a tremendous amount of thanks to Leverdude, I've learned to do my own action work and he's also been a huge help to me with the stock projects I've done. Working on them can surely be a challenge sometimes and I've made some mistakes along the way but it is incredibly rewarding.
Anyway, that's brood as it sits today. If I can stay disciplined enough and life cooperates, I'm hoping to save up enough money to have Grizzly Custom Guns do a little work for me. We'll see.
Thanks for looking and again, thanks for all the great stuff here. I really enjoy those old pictures and trying to guess the actual content.
