Who says the 44 magnum isn't flat shootin'?

Post by CEMENTHEAD »

 :D

Made a quick side trip to the range today with my Marlin 1894P. I had to re-sight the gun due to a broken front sight. (replaced it with an XS front)

Anyway, got it "on" @ 50 yards with Winchester White Box 240 grain JSP's. Decided to fire a few @ the 200 yard steel 9"x14" hanger.......well guess what? With a hold on the top cross bar (exactly 12.5" above the plate) I center hit the plate 19 out of 20 times. Hoo-doggy! :D  Anyways it made me have renewed confidence on a less than 100 yard shot.

I wish I could practice more.....however time constraints and family life are taxing to say the least.

Thought I'd share........Shoot 'em up Levergunners!

Thanks, Tom

If you can hit it with a .44, you can kill it
