Or is it even a Colt?

What I do know, Ann Margaret was a hottie back in the day.

My first thought was it's either a Colt or a Great Western. Then I looked at the pics again and I can only see two screws on the side of the gun. Colts and the copies have three. So at this point, I don't know for sure what they are.

Yea, me too. But on a positive note, I could not imagine what it would take to keep something like that happy. I'd have no money for Winchesters & Colts

Judging from the other gun's grips, my guess is Hy Hunter. Look at the shape of the trigger guard. It's sure not a Colt. Just happened to have 1908 model laying here to compare it to. I think the bolt screw end just doesn't show in the picture mostly due to the nickel plate.

I remember her from cheerleader days at Northwestern.

After copying the photo and croping out all the distractions I was able to focus on the revolver. Those lead ins to the locking slots are huge and should be a clue. The large trigger guard and 2 screws have been commented on.

Probably more the results of a skilled plastic surgeon, very exspesive cosmetics, etc, than aging like fine wine....
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Yea... but if you put a little paint and bondo on a '57 Chevy---it's still a '57 Chevy.

it sure is a fake!!

I can prove it:

if it would be a real COLT, it wouldn´t be a 5 1/2 Incher, it would of course have grown to a full Buntline ...
