There should be a date code on the box, but I believe that they date late '40s to mid '50s.

There is something about those old paper shells that stir the soul a bit. I'm thinking late 40's-early 50's?

If there is no zip code in the address on the box, it will be at least pre-1965.

I feel the same when it comes to vintage ammo.

Good job Mike, I had a feeling those numbers may have been date related. Thanks

I'd have never guessed 1940s - late 50s or early 60s was where my thoughts were headed. Amazing condition. Can we see a head stamp?
Nice find!
Best,

I have several boxes like these with red paper shells that are from the early sixties. My guess is 1950's. I shoot mine on occasion just to hear them go BANG!
