Several of the adds by seller state that he has the last of the inexpensive 92 reproductions, and the new ones will have a high price tag if ever produced. Is this true? Could it be that Nate Kiowa Jones knows?

I suspect this individual is talking about Puma. Puma switched from Rossi (Braztech/Tarus) as the source for their 92 repros to the Italian Chiappa firm. Rossi now markets their rifles directly.

As far as I know you needn't worry - inexpensive Rossis will still be available.

Bought 2 of these(Puma 92 SS 45 colt) in Sptember and was told they were "discontinued" A search of Legasies websight revealed they were no longer listed as they had been a week before. Chiaapa was now listed and the MSRP was $900. Sounds like4 its coming true.

That's pretty much it. Since Taurus bought out Rossi the 92's have been imported by Braztech. They don't advertise it but they are a division of Taurus. Both LSI and EMF have dropped the Rossi line.
