Hello,
I have seen this in two fliers now from RSR Group but they indicate it is "coming soon". I am very curious about the quality and reliability of this gun. Has anyone tested/shot/handled this model and have any input to offer?
Thanks!!!
Darin

Yes, me too! I see some good potential. Hopefully, I am not too optomistic.Ysabel Kid wrote:Haven't seen on in person, but looking forward to it!!!

Gents,
As has been said in other discussions about this rifle, it may be heavily reworked to acommodate the .22LR round. The few photographs that I have seen appear to show the left side of a regular, centerfire Rossi 92.
I have thought about it, and I am curious to see if Taurus, which now controls the Rossi plant & machinery, will restamp & rebrand their levered version of the Rossi/ Taurus Model 62 pump rifle as a "Rossi Model 92 Rimfire levergun"

I'm finding myself agreeing with you. The previous thread on this from a couple weeks ago left a lot of unanswered questions.
I wish I'd seen one of those Model 62 lever guns. I like the looks of that one and would be very tempted to buy it.

I think I will stick to my old Marlin 39, I have seen some of the Norinco 22 levers and did not like them they are supposed to be a Browning copy but are very very rough.
Hope Rossi makes them smooth but it is a wait and see thing.

That certainly makes more sense. The pump gun converted to a lever isn't new. So why re-invent the wheel.
