Humor: "How to Find Inner Peace"

Post by Old No7 »

A buddy from the rifle club sent this over...

The best thing is, I have no idea if there really is a Dr. Oz or not!!!

Hey there:

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following this simple advice heard on the Oprah show, you too can find inner peace.

Dr. Oz proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a few...

Let's see... There was a bottle of white Zinfandel, a bottle of Jack Daniel's, a package of Oreos, the rest of my old Prozac prescription, half of a cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of yummy chocolates. And you know what???

You have no idea how good I feel right now!!!

Pass this on if you know anyone you think might be in need of inner peace.

I wold have some inner turmoil from that combination of foods. I would certainly have to warn folks to keep the backblast area clear.

There is a Dr. Oz... he's one of those TV know it all's that they dress up in scrubs while he's on TV doing the show. I was broke down one day and he was on the set in the driver's lounge when I went in.

That would do it!

Heck, I know I'd find inner peace if I could finish everything I started, or projects I'd like to get to. Will take a thousand years, but...
