Does anyone know the angle within the Dove Tail, specifically the front sight dove tail, for Marlins and Winchesters? I believe it is either 60 or 65 degrees.
Thanks,

Re: Dove tail angle for Marlin & Win.
For anyone who may be interested, I found some information at Brownells. The standard dove tail angle is 60 degrees. The 65 degree angle is used on some after market sights for the 1911 handgun. Knowing the correct angle is essential for fitting a new sight. I had both 60 & 65 degree files, I had bought some years ago and forgot which one was which. One of the problems of getting old.
