I got my Rossi Ranch Hand in .45 Colt today! Couldn't believe it. I figured it would be Jan. before I heard from my dealer.
Put about 50 rds. thru it. The action is smoother than I expected. I want to replace the useless lever for the regular loop.
So far it seems to be ok, but the last round doesn't always leave the mag tube, and I have to work the lever a couple of times before it will feed. I ordered the tune up kit/w dvd and the plug for the safety.
It's not the most practical gun I own, but the coolness factor is off the chart! My dealer said it was a good thing I showed up when he opened. He's rcvd. lots of calls from people wanting this little gun. Now I can watch my Wanted Dead or Alive DVD's and help ol Steve catch the bad guys!
You lucky dog you! Congratulations! I saw one of these at the NRA show in Charlotte in May. Half the price of the Chiappa version. I was told it would be November, at the earliest, before they would be in. Figured that meant January too!
