I don't have any levergun action shots. Just the double. I can't hardly ever get anyone to go to the range with me anymore since I started going at first light.
Ted,
I know what you mean. All the lever gun pics I have from the last 10 years were taken in Indiana. I can't get my wife to go to the range with me here. So, no IL pics.

Here are a couple one shooter leverguns. Took these at a shoot last year. I don't have any other "action" shots.
Wait! I have an after action shot,

Isnt it amazing how many people post without reading the thread?

Ricky...I noticed you guys don't practice changing your pants after each Buffalo charge. What's up with that?
We did... we just turned the video off first .
I really like the logic behind that target setup...makes alot of sense. Dang, I'm gonna have to get a photo of me shooting my lever now to keep up with you guys......

I don't have any action shots of me shooting; I'm not sophisicated enough to set the camera up if I am out solo. Now that Y2K is shooting with me almost all the time, I'll have him snap a few next we're out.

Great idea!
Like I mentioned above I've got the same problem. I have one 35mm camera that you can set to take a pic ever so many seconds and it will continue until the roll of film is used up. I've done that before and it works great.
But then I have to get the film developed, then scan the pics into the computer and ..... it's a lot of trouble, but not as much as getting my wife to go along. Looks like I need to find some more film.

Joe it ain't brain science or rocket surgery. Almost all digital cameras will do video. Put yer camera on a tripod or other solid rest framing the shooting station, start the video and go shoot. Then grab frames from the vid as snapshots.

Yeah it is, for me anyway. I've read all the instructions and studied them till I'm cross eyed and I still cannot understand those computerized cameras.
My digital is a Canon D60 DSLR. It will not take videos, only stills. And for those I leave the on board computer on "Automatic".
I don't even understand how to make it do a timer pic. Just TOO complicated for me.
By the way, your rifles on fire .....

It was easy to make, bought some square tubing and used some wood for the target frames. I used some kind of press board for the target backer and ordered the targets online. I drove two T post in the ground about a foot a part and then slipped some scrap plastic pipe over them and used that for a cable guide so that if I pulled to the side it wouldn't take the shooters feet out from under them . Then I just drove a stake in the ground to reference where to stop pulling. The back side of the targets show the animals vital parts.
Joe,
It was a lot of fun. several Levergunners from around here came over and the moving target was the closing act for us. We had guys with big bore revolvers, bolt actions, but mostly Leversguns. The target moves around more then it looks in the video and adds to the fun.
Good Morning Joe! It's a Weaver K10.....appears to be an older one. My Dad bought this gun from a buddy who used it to hunt antelope in Colorado, and gave it to me last year for my Birthday. Love everything about this Ruger No. 1.
I'm gonna see if I can't get my oldest boy to record some shooting with the Winchesters on our next range outing and post it to youtube.

Wind, kimcook and myself taking on the Rams at the local silhouette match. Actually it was Kim doing all the Ram slaying. I wish he would have knocked over a couple of mine... missing does save me some walking though...

Edited: Click on the above photo to see a '66 levergun in ACTION, but watch to end... you see what a rather sluggish Texas Star looks like. Either its pivot is rusty, or somebody forgot to oil the bearings!
Here's JW at the FoBD shoot in 2008 lining up on a distant target with his 1886 carbine.
And here's forum member Little Doc trying it out!
And, although not done with a levergun, here's one of the only hits on the targets:
And let no one mistake how difficult the feat is, these may appear huge up close... at 1538 yards they are awful tiny!

OK Griff, I need you to school me. How did you get the youtube video to post up like you did. I tried for an hour the other day and couldn't get it to do right. I would hit preview and it would just be code. What am I doing wrong?

Should look like this: "{url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th7yJbaS ... /img}{/url}"; but with square brkts instead of the round ones. I just used the still outta my photobucket account. Thought that was neater than a simple hyperlink... since the "embed" doesn't work here. Oh yeah, that was my 1st youtube upload video... so a coupla firsts for me!
Glad you found it, I forgot to add, "click on pic" instr.
