Back when the first synthetic/stainless bolt actions were coming out, I talked to a gunsmith from Montana who said a customer had ordered one, and he asked the guy if he was going on some wilderness hunt. The guy said no, he wanted the stainless one specifically due to the fact that he had a hot-tub in a gazebo out back of his house, and often saw elk or bear when out there with his wife.

Apparently someone else has figured out my plans for retirement. I don't see the barbeque pit that is required for this type of lifestyle.

Up here in central Maine, that blind would be JUST the thing to have

Jack, tain't me... you don't see that many conifers in my part of Texas... leastways, not ones that small!

But, mainly, just like my fishin'... I'd not wish to have my beer-drinkin'/bathin' interrupted by guttin' chores. 'sides that fellar is obviously single, or somehow has cowed his lady into believing that he can do no wrong! Who else would knowingly set themselves up to suffer the tongue lashing the "little lady's" going to dish out!!?? I can hear the clear, sweet voice of my son's mother now... "Listen up you lazy, uncouth, completely immoral 'great-white-hunter' of all the Americas, if you think I'M going out to field-dress that skinny, underfed bambi because your fat, overfed waterlogged butt is too innebriated after just one 'Colorado Kool-Aid', you best figure on holdin' your breath way past spring turkey season.

And if you think for one instant that you're gonna jump outta the nice, hot water, drag that carcass up here on MY hot tub deck and gut it, it'll be a month of frozen Sundays in H-E double hockey sticks before you see the inside of that tub again!" Yep... something I strive to avoid...

I'd say it bears a passing resemblence to our very own Terry something-or-other... but I'd probably get a verbal blistering that'd make the "little woman's" seem tame by comparison.

That blind doesn't look very portable.
