Bought my first underlever today :)

Post by Renegade Master »

Went to a gun show at Bisley today, which is the home of the NRA in the UK. Picked up an absolutely mint Anschutz ML 22. As far as I can tell, it's the same as a Browning BL 22 grade 2, I guess just made under licence by Anschutz. Got to wait until Thursday until I can shoot it.

Good for you renegade. You must take pics and show us asap :D

If I was only ever to have one rifle it would be a levergun in 22, it is capable of amazing things.

AYE GAWD!!!! :o :o Somebody scratched the receiver all up, along with the trigger guard!!!! Better send it to me... I'll attempt to get that cleaned up and return it to ya as soon as done. :P

Be patient... it may take awhile.

Thanks Guys. :)

Nath, I don't have a permission cleared for rimfire, but get out on mates' permissions from time to time.

It is funny that when you are holding a Browning, it is hard to recall the names of the other gunmakers.
I have nearly identical model 1895s, one marked Winchester and the other marked Browning, both actually made by Miroku.
For some inexplicable reason, the Browning just feels better. :?:

Beautiful BLR 22, Renegade Master.
