It sure is. +1 I have sold many articles ($25-$100) and just shipped 'em. The check always arrived.-------Sixgun

Great to hear. I've conducted similar exchanges with forum members (both ways) literally 100 times. Been burned only twice and I'm happy to PM you who it was and what happened. Quality folks tend to hang out here.

Well watch out for this.

I wanted to buy some catalogs from Flusher. $12 - Well, I "mailed" a check BUT, my wife tells me that what I used was not a stamp at all but a label that comes on the stamps that looks like a stamp :( (they now look like a lot of stuff). He mailed me that he hadn't received payment. I messaged him what I had done and released him from our deal and told him to keep the check for his trouble if it got there and he had done something else. I have not received it back from the post office ??????? Not sure where the thing is in the postal system. My fault, my apologies to flusher.

Ever have someone send you a firearm worth several hundred dollars BEFORE you sent them a dime in payment? I did, talk about trust! I wouldn't have a problem doing the same for any of the regulars here.

Wel, heck thanks 45 colt. Why not ship it? What is the best that could happen? I get my money. What is the worst that could happen?....can I live with the worst that might happen? In the grant scheem of things loosing a hundered bucks won't stop the mortgage from being paid, so I would rather have trust in folks and feel good about the people that I do biz with then be a distruster.

That's interesting OS. Which non-stamp did you use? Not that I intend to do that... I use the forever stamps in the little "books" slips and noticed the big copy of the stamp is (or used to be) a peel and stick just like the stamps. I often wondered if somebody tried that.

Oh, and on topic, rjohns94 mailed us our books before receiving our checks. A couple of others have done that for me as well. It is very humbling to be treated in that way.
Sincerely,

Hobie

I've never been burned here. Been burned twice here recently but they were deals outside of Leverguns. Great to deal with the guys on here.

Hobie, that sounds exactly like what I used. Flusher sent me a picture of the envelope as he received it. I think they hand wrote on it - No postage - 44 cents due.

He had a Lyman rear aperature for a Savage 99. I told him I'd need to tweak the budget to pay for it. When I sent a PM that I had figured out the money and scheduled the payment, he said he had already sent the sight. :!: I should have it this week. 8)
