Bent Loading Gate on Cimarron 1892

Post by redrider03 »

Hey guys, I have a bent loading gate on my 1892 Cimarron that is not letting the first round cycle right. I sent a message to the VTI Replica Gun Parts (vtigunparts.com) to see if they had anything in stock. Does anyone know if they are in business still, I havent heard anything and I want to make sure before I order anything. I thought about maybe having the gate bent back, but I figured it would probably bend again more easily.

Also, has anyone with their 92 Cimarron had their trigger lightened? Is it something that can be done pretty easily?

Thanks guys

redrider,

I'm not sure VTI would have a loading gate for a Cimmaron but here's their phone number. Much better to call and talk to a human than to send emails that get ignored.
Tel: 860-435-8068

Also give Steve Young a call:

The Cimarron 92 is the Armi Sport/Chiappa 92 - all same, same, GI. :D VTI has Chiappa parts. The loading gate assembly is $25.
