My favorite Marlin

Post by 1886 »

A 1966 336 RC SRC .30-30 ser # AB-----. Straight stocked, presafety with a great trigger and a wonderful micro groove bore. This rifle carries, points and shoots so well. It loves cast bullets and everyone knows micro grooves will not shoot cast. It wears a Williams 336 receiver sight, great original wood and nice blue with no rust or carry wear. I saw it's sister at a show this past weekend but the owner knew what he had as the asking price was almost $500.00. 1886.

I really like my 357CB.I think it will make a good survival gun if things get too sh**ty.Short, light and efficient.Lots of fun stoping dangerous looking pop cans that might find their way into the hands of some homicidal maniac.Just kidding.
