I'm getting old and forgetful.....what is the name of the nice leather sling that the butt fits into ?? Just had one posted on someone's Marlin I think but can't remember....help.....

I like the Montana sling - but I think you're talking about a model that attaches via a buttpad instead of the sling swivel?
That would be like the ones often used for muzzle loaders - check Dixie Gun Works or Buffalo Arms.
