Starting snowing here around 4:00pm, and hasn't stopped. Looks like we have abot 4 inches. I know that doesn't sound like much for most of you, but it is a lot for here. Heck, even Myrtle Beach is supposed to get some snow from this snow storm.

I remember. I lived 2 hours north of you in Midland for almost 8 years. Felt like 20!

The first week I moved south we got 2 inches of snow. It shut down everything. I remember talking to one of my peers back in Michigan and told him we got snow. When he asked how much, and I told him, there was dead silence on the line. Finally he asked, "Did you say 2 inches? Heck, that's barely a flurry!!!"

All a matter of perspective. At the time I don't think Charlotte owned a single piece of snow removal equipment. Why purchase something that is going to sit and just rust most years? :D

I did shovel off the driveway this morning. Old habits die hard... :lol:
