I sent it to my brother and wife. She's sent it on to the in laws.
Brother got it in 3, wife got it in about 6, and haven't tried enough to trap him yet.

Fun game. But I think someone had way too much time on their hands.

Someone e-mailed me this about 5 or 6 months ago. I actually do one each morning; helps clear the mind and get me going each day. :D

The initial set-up of the board, which differs each time, is what determines probability of success. In some set-ups, no matter what move you make, it is mathematically impossible to stop the cat. I suspect the success ratio is probably 20-25% given the potential initial set-ups.

Agreed, but the ratio is a bit better. Most days I get him on the first attempt. Just got to be patient and not try to box him in too fast! :D
