1892 in .41 magnum
Does anyone make such a creature? Also, is there something wrong with EMF's website? I can go to the main page, but whenever I click on anything my computer locks up. Three days I've been trying.

The only .41 Mag lever I've heard of is the early Marlin 1894 and the later 1894FG. Pretty sure no one else has made one.

Wish they did because I'd sell of the FG to get one, Marlin's Quality Control was asleep when they allowed mine to leave the factory. That and the Marlin jam in my eyes is a design flaw-rifle is set up for one load that being the federal 210 grain load.Double loads with anything else shorter which jams the carrier.Just my .02 after reading a lot and unjamming the rifle a bit. They made a 92 trapper with peepsights in 41 I'm be in line to get one.

Rossi never did a 41 mag as a production run but the did do a prototype. One of the Guys at LSI ended up with one.
I've relined and retimed the Rossi 92 to 38-40 (40cal) but I've never done a 41 mag.

Re: 1892 in .41 magnum
My Brother had a Marlin in 41 when they first came out. It had all sorts of issues. IIRC, Marlin used a 44 mag. carrier and this caused the jamming issue big time. He had to use JB weld and build-up the carrier to get the piece to feed properly. He finally got tired of the non-function piece and traded it off.
If you find a Marlin/41 be very, very careful.
They had so many problems with the 41, I doubt it will ever surface again.

Re: 1892 in .41 magnum
I have a different 41 magnum Marlin, the 1894CCL with the 20 inch octagon barrel. The first model in 41 magnum was the 1894S, with a 24 inch round barrel. After the CCL Marlin made 250 stainless steel trapper's with 16.5 inch barrels, they are part of that special 4 caliber run (45 Colt, 44 Magnum, 41 magnum, 357 Magnum) of stainless steel trappers. Then Marlin came out with the 1894FG model with a 20 inch round barrel.
My CCL works just fine as long as I keep the OAL cartridge length to 1.59 inches, but this seems to be common to most 1894's no matter what the caliber. This means that the generic 210-215 grain lead SWC is the bullet of choice for the 41 Magnum rifles, I would love to shoot a Keith bullet in this rifle but the OAL is just too long to feed properly.
The 41 magnum cartridge dimensions aren't very different from a 44 Magnum (rim diameter .488 vs .514, case diameter .433 vs .457, length the same at 1.29); it should only take a small change to the extractor hook and maybe the carrier to get the cartridge to feed correctly in a nominally 44 magnum rifle. I epoxied some stainless steel shim to the bottom of my carrier to fix the "Marlin Jam" problem when the rifle was new and haven't had that problem happen at all with my CCL.

Otto,
The EMF site is very slow for me, too. It appears that they are now using Flash animation on their pages. This could slow down your computer, and it could stop-up a dial-up connection. There may be some other behind-the-scenes technical stuff that is causing the problem, since it looks like they are still changing their site.

Never had a problem with my 1894S. I usually load a 240 or 260 gr cast bullet with a 1.710" Cartridge Overall Length.
