I was curious about decent pricing for either of the two GB auctions we have plenty of pistol grip 336 around local but don't see many straight stocked ones. Have a couple pistol gripped ones already, but was wanting to have a straight stocked one to go with my 39A Mountie. These both look like nice guns (although I really want a 16 1/2 barrel).

MARLIN 336-T SADDLE RING CARBINE 1969 30-30

Also wondered if I would be bidding against any of you. I don't want to step on anyone on here.
Thanks,

Re: Price Check etc
The min bid on the second is about the right price for either, go after the first one first. I think $400 is about tops, but that's me and I already have one each in .30 and .35. Lust can add $50 to $100 to the price...

Thanks guys, like I said don't see many of the straight stocked ones here local, so getting an idea on a fair price is kinda hard. I reallly love the straight stocked rifles, grew up with a 67 mountie and just think that is what a rifle should look like.
BTW I know about bidding insanity. Have been lucky enough to never win one that I got stupid on! LOL.
$350 to $375 + $35 shipping and the $30 for my FFL transfer is about what I thought for the max. Makes sense to me! Maybe I will get lucky!
