Springfield 1884 trapdoor

Post by deadwooddan »

Don't know if this is considered a lever gun ( i wouldn't think) , but was wanting to find info on it besides web search. give me any sites that may be helpful and knowledge would be great.

Brother has the weapon, it was in the family treasures that he inherited.

There are some good Sprinfield Trapdoor sites. Ben Rumson's idea is probably best. That way you can survey what is out there and bookmark the ones you like best. I don't spend much time at all on the Springfield sites, but I sure like shooting mine.
