Stock Help Please

Post by crystal river charli »

Hello to all,
I was wondering if anyone here might know of some one
who might make a nice set of stocks that would fit
a Rossi 92.
I would like to put something on mine that might be a
little nicer than the factory wood.

Thanks in advance,
Charlie

Replacement stocks for a Winchester Model 94 should fit a Rossi or any other Model 92 with very little work.

Pre-war 92's and 94's used the same wood. The post war 94 wood is different, Precision is the only stock maker I know of that offers semi-inletted wood. But it's for the carbines. No one I know of makes rifle wood for the Rossi octagon guns.

Have you checked to see that the issue is the stock. Some 92 clones have been known to havae sucky finish on a reasonable stock! I sugest you check the wood itself before you spen $ on replacing it!
