Hello to all,
I was wondering if anyone here might know of some one
who might make a nice set of stocks that would fit
a Rossi 92.
I would like to put something on mine that might be a
little nicer than the factory wood.
Thanks in advance,
Charlie

Stock Help Please
I'm getting old. In my old age I find I long for the guns of my youth.
Revolvers and 1911's were the handguns of my youth.
I know them and I trust them.

Tree Bone Carving This is what i use to upgrade and they have buttplates to match. Brownell's sells them too.
Re: Stock Help Please
Replacement stocks for a Winchester Model 94 should fit a Rossi or any other Model 92 with very little work.

Re: Stock Help Please
Pre-war 92's and 94's used the same wood. The post war 94 wood is different, Precision is the only stock maker I know of that offers semi-inletted wood. But it's for the carbines. No one I know of makes rifle wood for the Rossi octagon guns.Pete44ru wrote:Replacement stocks for a Winchester Model 94 should fit a Rossi or any other Model 92 with very little work.

Re: Stock Help Please
Have you checked to see that the issue is the stock. Some 92 clones have been known to havae sucky finish on a reasonable stock! I sugest you check the wood itself before you spen $ on replacing it!
