Love my Interarms 16" 357.
Republic. I like the sound of the word. It means people can live free, go or come, buy or sell, be drunk or sober, however they choose. Some words give you a feeling. Republic is one of those words that makes me tight in the throat . . . . Some words can give you a feeling that makes your heart warm. Republic is one of those words.

So can you sell to CA or should I order from EMF and pick up
locally then ship to you for your magic?
(I plan on a short 357 this year)

Nate we're on the same page. I too encouraged Debbie/EMF to get some Trappers in .357 - I said in both blue and SS...don't know if they'll do the former or not? You have far more pull I'm sure but I was impressed (and have been by her/them) when she solicited my opinion as well. She'd seen a post where I'd praised them and she followed up "unsolicited." It was basically, "IF we could only do one configuration/caliber in the Trapper, what...?" I'm also a big .44/92 fan, but my response was (I think) more to what I thought they could sell more of....the .357...IF they could only do one now. Thanks Debbie and EMF. Every now and then the companies listen. Now, Ruger, about that .44 Special NMV?Don't cut it. I have managed to talk EMF into ordering some 16" Stainless 357's.

I should have said enough folks have ask for them, not just me. My part actually started with the 16" stainless 45lc guns for the mounted CAS shooters, CMSA. EMF has made a dscision to get involved with the CMSA and when Debbie found out I was building rifles for some of those folks but building them on the LSI because EMF didn't have a SS 16" she decided they should. As it progressed I kept her informed as to how many of the 357's I had on order and with the help of folks like you letting them know, she decided they would do the 16" SS 357's too.
As for the cblue 16" I don't think the blues will be coming anytime soon. I just don't see enough interest.

Oh man. I've been going nuts trying to get money for one of the .45LCs. And now they're making a stainless .357 Trapper....
This is great news; I just have to work more extra overtime....

I bought one of the first 16" ones in the area way back when, and jumped right in to modifying it for me,,turned it into a scout carbine of sorts.
Had a gentleman work on and make a "glove' lever for me,had a scout scope mount placed on top of the rear sight , sourdough front installed, folding tang sight, and then and wrapped the lower part of the lever after seeing an article by Clint Smith. Keep it fed 145 grain Winchester Silver Tips for a truck gun set up, and warm hand loaded 200 grain Bearthooh's for any four leggers.

That looks like one handy little gun right there now.
Wudju do to the butstock? It looks like a cresent butcapped rifle stock cut back to behind the top of the cresent and a shotgun style plate added, is that right?
As for the mag hangers I thought about doing the same thing but using the Marlin combo mag plug/hanger arrangement. I think that would be a really clean setup.

Is that the Ram-Line 94 youth synthetics?oldgerboy wrote:The stock and forearm are plastic
I shortened the forearm back to almost the band step and installed a Marlin tip. I feel the shorter length looks better with the short barrel since the bands are removed and the magazine is shortened.
